Walking on Water

This is a water strider taken at Rose Lake Wildlife Area just north of Lansing, MI. I had intended to go out to look for song birds, however, while taking a break next to a small creek I was fascinated by the little water bugs.

I attempted to capture a close up of the more common insects and wildlife I, and others, often overlook.
