Superb detail, Stephen. You managed to get the perfect angle to keep most of the butterfly in the focal zone. Well done.

Wonderful detail and colours!
Could use a lot more room on the left and top, so the antennae are not cramped.

Hi Sandy,
I understand what you mean by "more room". I have a tiny sensor, in my camera. (1/2.35 - 5.76 x 4.32 mm). In order to get this close, I have to fill the frame.
Once I get my crop sensor camera (APS-C or H), I will have so much room, I will not know what to do with it.

Excellent macro image of this amazing cooperative butterfly. Superb detail and a beautiful bg. I agree with Sandy about a pinch more room in front (even if some of the right side got eliminated), but this is very minor. Outstanding overall, Stephen.

I love the colours on this one. Nice and sharp too. I would wish for a bit more space for the antennae.
Grt, Ingrid.
