Your control of the whites is superb Sandy, and the water makes this complete. I think for my tastes, I might like a tighter crop showing just the petals without the openings to BG. Just me.

Well captured, Sandy. Nice management of the light given use of the flash on light petals. It looks natural, and I like the way the light brought out the center detail.

Nice, Sandy. I like the dof you chose and the red spot is cool.

You did a great job with the whites & I like how you composed this, except I also agree that perhaps a slightly smaller crop would be even better!

Sandy - Nicely done. I like that Red Patch at the center - provides some good contrast there I think. Water Drops add to the beauty. If this was under controlled conditions, opening up the petals with OOF tips is something I might have attempted.

Nice use of flash on this. Mine with flash almost NEVER work! Nice creamy white color managed very well and a great look at the unusual flower center. Looks "wounded," with the spot of red. Quite lovely, a little unsettling... Looks to me like you had more room for focus in the foreground; it'd be good if the droplets were more in focus.

Sandy:
I like this overall. A tighter crop excluding the 3 dark triangles at the upper and lower edges may also work.

Really excellent lighting here. And, a very interesting center of the flower.
