An idyllic evening on the Isle of Harris. Funny how certain images age better, this is one I haven't felt compelled to share till now.

Canon 5DMkII, 16-35m, 0.5 sec.

Great color and water motion Kah Kit. Just looking at the thumbnail, I thought this was on the Isle of Harris. Now you've got me dreaming of Luskentyre. Beautiful image.

Beautiful!! Great light, wonderful colors and one awesome mood! The large version is a must look here! The 1/2 sec exposure worked perfect for this shot. A nice one just to sit back and enjoy. :toast:

I like the blue/pink palette almost divided in two. I also like it with half of the sky cropped off. :biggrin:

Lovely Kah Kit. I especially like the reflected color on the sand, and even more so the small bits of foam in the extreme FG. I'm not big on blurred water usually, but this isn't done to an extreme so it fits in nicely.

Kah Kit, there is a stunning contrast for me between the rather static symmetry in your composition and the dynamics shown in the water and the sky. I also enjoy the fantastic color palette. The reflection is just spot on to my eye.

It is such a beautiful scene. I like how the wave divides the image and also marks the color contrast in the composition.

Nice composition - has a great flow to it through the image. I especially like the way the surf mirrors the clouds on the right.

Wow, glad you were looking into the archives to find this jewel. Just beautiful tones and colors and light. Love the little bits of foam in the foreground. The larger view is magnificent.
