Pedraforca peak

I would like to show you one emblematic mountain of Catalonia in Spain. This mountain is at less than two hours driving from Barcelona city and it is called Pedraforca that literally means “Stone- pitchfork” due to its shape. We took this picture before a storm.

Yes, I know that we are in summer, but, as this year was particularly hot, I have chosen this “cold” picture hoping that the temperature decreases a little.

Hope you like it!

Beautiful Joana. I love winter images in the summer - it's a nice change of pace. Very scenic and makes me want to be there.

Welcome to NPN Joana. What a wonderfully ominous sky and a beautiful snowy scene.

I like the bluish cool tones in the sky, working in well with the wintry landscape.
