Yellow Warbler

While sitting in my backyard waiting for something to come along I was very happy to have this yellow warbler visit. This is the second time this summer that I have had a yellow warbler on one of my potted plants. Rather a unique experience.

Nikon D300w, 300 lens plus 1.4 tc, f 5.6, 1/500

Beautiful bird and love the red flowers - he apparently did, too!
Your usual fine detail, bright eye, and great comp.

May: a beautiful capture of the warbler. I like the light on the bird. The red flowers tend to draw me away. Maybe a bit less luminance and saturation on the reds. Very nice.

Interesting color contrast and good detail on the warbler. I might crop just a little more on the bottom and right corner to only have the flower pedals that are in focus but what a wonderful opportunity, way to go.
