Picture taken last july near Solothrun/Switzerland. The title comes from the russian word for sunflower what means "under the sun" .

Nikon D700, AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm f/4G ED VR @24 mm, Iso:400, 1 sec,f18, polarizer,ND 0.6 Hard

Bill,

Love these sunflowers! I might like to see the trees and sky isolated with the marquee tool and have the exposure dropped some to make the flowers pop out more. Lovely details.

What a well-organized scene! The flowers could not be better arranged if you had shot a single flower and reproduced it many times to create a design, and your composition sets it well into the landscape. The even light makes the flowers sing... in perfect harmony of course.

Beautiful scene and well-composed grouping of sunflowers. I agree with Marc about toning down the background just a bit to really make the flowers stand out. Nice work!
