What an interesting place...carved hole and bursting waters. No leading lines ...though it is a great compilation of many good elements. Maybe the center rock is too dominant.

Rick,

A very nice scene that combines some strong elements including the water and patterns below, the mountain and the bold sky. We can never control or predict the conditions, but I think a case here where the light has made everything a bit flat; a bit dark in general and just kinda well, flat. I really like the patterns and flow in the water; so much so that my thought is to crop from the top AND some from the right. There's a dark rock intruding on the right and I think the suggested crop would help emphasize the river and not so much the big sky. Oh, and a couple of dust spots you could clone out.

I think a few tweaks and this will be a keeper for sure.

Thanks for the advice Lon.

Did this one very quickly on laptop and that sometimes (most time) does not work as well on my pc with monitor.

Will work on this when I return to my office. :wavey:

Nice find here Rick. The natural bridge is a very interesting compositional element. I might consider adding a bit more contrast to the water since it appears a bit flat. I would also try to open up the shadows a bit on the right since it is very dark on that side.

The water actions is what makes this image for me. Perfect shutter speed. The light is kind of flat here but still it's working for me. I agree witht Lon's suggestion - I think it could make this image stronger.

Cool water movement, and a great scene overall. Ditto on the flat look to the light, but a few tweaks as mentioned and it will be a keeper.
