2 Species of Coronet II

Here's another image of the same 2 species, a Velvet-purple Coronet and a Buff-tailed Coronet. In this one the Buff-tailed has rotated under the flower and taken a defensive position against the oncoming Velvet-purple. I know ideally I wouldn't have clipped the one wing.

7D 300F4 1/250 F20, iso 320, 6 slave flashes, artificial background, banana flower with sugar water held by clamp.

Colors and details are great. Interesting interaction shot between the two. Looks like you went to a lot of work to set this up and it paid off with a great shot. :toast:

Great colors, Nate. Not to mention how sharp everything is. You're getting good at this. Ideally I'd like to see both birds without the flower in the way. Nothing against flowers, I just prefer the birds. :toast: :toast:
