Ah yes, the old mnemonic for remembering the order of colors in a rainbow. I guess it works just as well with vibgyor, but not as easy to remember that way.

This was on Guanella Pass last week after a passing storm.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking.

Morris

Large version, too.

Niiiiiice, Morris! Love the vivid rainbow and sweet light. One of the first hikes my wife and I did together when we were just dating was up Bierstadt, across the Sawtooth Ridge and then up Evans and back. This image brings back some great memories!

Fantastic rainbows Morris. For a minute I thought you went to Scotland. Did you find the pot o' gold?

And there's even some gold at the end of that rainbow!! I really like how you have framed the peaks with the bottom rainbow. I really like this so I'm going to just be quiet and sit back and enjoy the view for a while.

Well, the rainbows are right there taking all the bows, but the comp with FG and nice view certainly make it even better! Right place, right time, and you were there with the right stuff.

Such a perfect moment in time to capture. I love everything about this image. The colors of the rainbow are not overly saturated, but vivid enough to stand out from the rest of the scene. Well done!

Awesome capture! I like how the rainbow is centered in the middle of the image and you can see both ends. The mist makes the image even better. Great job Morris!
