Olympus E5, ZD300 2.8, 2xTC, ISO100, f5.7, 1/1250 resting on vehicle window

Got this Peregrine yesterday after I had gotten the Swainson's family. It was still cloudy and a little dark, so no catchlight. It stayed on this swallow house at the NWR for a little while and let me take some shots. The house is tilted at an angle, not the shot.

My favorite bird.
Here in Sweden they look a little bit different but it is probably the same spieces.
Nice shot !!

Sweet, Dave. The image quality is great and you did an excellent job of the exposure against the bright sky.

Excellent shot Dave, wonderful IQ and feather detail, looks like you have a NWR around your area from your recent images, well done.

Very nice IQ especially in the larger version. How nice to be able to get this close to a wild Peregrine.

A real beauty, Dave. A better perch would really make this one. Still, nice to get so close. Interesting to see the varaition in colors from our local Falcons. :toast:

A beautiful Peregrine with great detail. The perch makes me wonder if he is waiting for someone to come out and make an easy prey :toast:
