I like the mood John, but wish the rocks in the foreground were a bit brighter. Alternatively, since you've blended two images) warming the image with the rocks slightly (again, just the foreground) might achieve making them pop just a bit more.
Looks like you sure had a productive time, even with the weather hanging!

The scene feels very quiet and still. I think the small size here tends to make the image appear darker than it would be in a larger size. I like the comp but wish there was a bit more seperation between the foregronnd rocks and the off shore stacks, but I guess you can't have everything.

Thanks for the comments! If by separation you mean dynamic range, you can have it all (Photoshop ). I find trying to keep delicate shadow variation to be one of the more difficult things to translate to web viewing. It depends a lot on monitor variation and viewing conditions. I have a lighter version, but on my monitor it looked a bit less natural. I'd post it, but am unfortunately on the road until Friday and don't have that version with me. If this thread has any life by then, I'll post it for comparison.

John, I really like this! I have recently been facing the challenges of web presentation, and understand your point. I like the cool details in shadow and think they would make a huge impact if seen larger or in print. I also really enjoy your comp.

john, i like this very much - as it is. any brighter and it may appear overexposed, unnatural and it would lose its mood. I love the colours and mood here. great job.

Nice light and color John. It makes me feel cold and damp to look at it. Nice overall composition. I would like the foreground rocks a bit brighter also, otherwise nice job.

Love the dark and misty atmosphere. A very nicely balanced comp too. Sure looks like that rain was set in. I can see an argument to bring up the white point a bit as long as the mood wasn't compromised.

Sorry I missed the previous post, very elegant. I like the mysterious mood to these one. Those greens are a nice compliment to the scene. The right side seems a little heavy, so maybe a little off the left to make the large rock at the left of the image.

Love this John! Wonderful mood. I can see the argument for brightening the foreground rocks a bit, but I think it's fine as is. And I bet it looks great larger. Great atmosphere you captured here!

Another beauty, John. I enjoy the dark and somewhat ominous mood of this one. I also like the somewhat chaotic pattern of rocks in the foreground.

A beautiful moody image. I can almost feel the damp coolness, and light breeze. This is an image I can feel more than see, and that's a great thing.
