Long-tailed Ground-Roller photographed in spiny forest at Ifaty, Madagascar.

Canon 5D MkIII, EF 70-200 mm f/4 IS @ 150mm, handheld, ISO 400, f/8, 1/100. Cropped for composition. A oof twig behind bird digitally disguised, and the background/foreground desaturated a little.

Excellent, Simon. Great angle and the detail is very good. You handled the back lighting very well.

What a saucy little fellow. I like the pose with the lifted tail a great deal.

This setting and this bird would be right at home here in Arizona. Nice exposure and detail.

Very nice detail where it counts and interesting to see a little blue color along the wing and dirt on the bill, well done.

He stands out well against the background of a similar color. Feather detail is excellent, nice work.
