Taken in sunlight as they swarm on a wild turnip bush which they seem to love. These guys will take a swipe at each other as they go by for no apparent reason. Canon 7D, Canon 60mm 2.8lens,1/1250sec, f7.1,f7.1,ISO 800.

Another great shot in this set, nice job of getting em' both in with one in-flight.
Not an easy task. Did you use flash?
I generally always use flash when going for flying bugs/b-flies.
Well done Roger, I like this :wavey:

Neat capture! Without your added information this could be a greeting dance or a fight.

Very cool shot. Two at the time with one in flight. I love those dangling legs.

Nice shot! Well done. Like that you got one in flight. How close were you with the 60mm? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, everyone. Howard, I try not to use flash unless absolutely necessary - didn't need to here. john I was probably less than 1ft. away. These don't care about you when they're foraging. Should have mentioned that this is about 75% of original.
