Twilight along the Firehole River, Yellowstone.
This illustrates my most recent post called Experience the Mysterious. Very mysterious stuff indeed.

Great artistic work for me, Ian. The stripe of the sky with its warming tones complements that mystic drama in an amazing way to me.

You outdid yourself on this one! Perfect composition and shutter speed - prehistoric times at their best.

Terrific and novel approach to an often photographed scene. The mystery is palpable and the touch of warm sky just the right addition.

Simply awesome. One of the best I've seen in a long time, though Mother Nature helped you quite a bit here. Such an interesting scene.

Wicked cool, Ian. The alternating diagonals in the river are great. Really have to compliment your vision for putting this together.

nice one ian. the effect in the water is slight unnerving. i, for one, would crop off that warmness at the top to reveal a cold and bleak - but fully mysterious - world.
