After a long break from NP I post this photo of a flying buzzard. It is on its way down for drinking in a little waterhole where I sit in a hide.

Nikon D800, Sigma 120-300/2,8
ISO 1250, 1/640, f/4, Compensation -1,33

Lennart,
Great capture of a raptor coming right at you. Blind probably helped with that. Looks like you had quite a bit of shade that you were shooting in and out of making for difficult exposure and you did a great job. Great to have you back.

Great detail where it counts at the head/eyes, much harder to pull off an inflight from this head-on POV.
Cool pose, well done Lennart :toast:

This is a well framed image. The focus point is perfect. I would nit-pick & say it needs just a bit more depth of field to have more of the bird in focus, but that's personal preference. Well done!
