Northern Sierras.

Followed what appeared to be 3 "young of the year", for an hour or so, getting a variety of images. I thought this was one of the best.

Slight crop on left side, adjusted brightness and contrast. No sharpening, as it looked over-sharpened with any sharpening applied. Some noise reduction. Comments and criticism are highly valued.

GREAT to get two, both in nice poses and tack-sharp!
Nice lines on the stump, a very complimentary BG, and a "10" of the "cute baby animal" gauge.
Very well-done!

Very nice comp and yes great job getting good detail out of both squirrels...could be my tired eyes, but I think I might give it another round of sharpening...mostly selectively around the eyes, ears and heads. Very complimentary BG as well. really nice image Jim.

Nice work getting these two both in focus w/ a clean background! I like their placement in the frame also. Nice work!

Not only are the poses excellent, you managed to position your camera to get them within the same plane, with hightlights in both individual's eyes. Nice work. I see no real nits, but can imagine experimenting a little with selective processing, perhaps trying to darken the weathered log a bit and maybe even the background. Thanks for sharing this effort!

Jim,
Excellant capture and looks very natural as posted. Great detail in the squirrels and the wood with good BG, I wouldn't change a thing. :toast:
