Olympus E5, ZD300 2.8, 2XTC, ISO200, 1/500, f7.1 resting on vehicle window

In keeping with my juvenile theme as of late, here is one of several juvenile Soras I found running around in the reeds at the edge of the water at the local refuge. I have had a hard time getting any decent Sora photos so far this year, so yesterday morning was good to me. It was taken at about 7AM, so the light was still quite low. This is about a 60% crop.

Very nice light, and pleasing colors. I like the ripple and the reflection too,

Sweet one, Dave. The details in the plumage really come through in the larger version.

Really nice light on this one Dave. Also good techs as usual. I like you managed a good reflection on top of all of this.

Great find and beautifully composed. Perfect timing for the beak just above the water.
