Autumn Vista

ecause of the Dutch weather, i'm already getting in an autumn mood again... (nothing but rain and clouds here for months already)

But thats not all bad, since Autmumnis my favourite season for landscape photography! Sadly no trip to the stunning Scottish Highlands this year, but I am planning on shooting some stuff on Texel! Looking forward to it! In the meantime, I thought I'd post an image from 2010 shot in those same stunning highlands.

(Sadly, both the small and large images suffer from the compression becasue of the detail, for a better version, see http://500px.com/photo/10176865)

Great image Jorne! Really love the composition and colors of course. Well done! My wife is Belgian (I'm American) and we live in Germany. My daughter will be studying in Amsterdam at the end of August so I'm looking forward to photographing while I'm there.

Excellent in every regard. The textures and colors here keep me very much engaged.

The clouds make this work very well. Nice shot.

A wonderful scene and overall composition. I like the contrast from the darker bottom to the bright sky. The clouds cover most of the sun so the bright light is not overpowering, well done.
