A Fun Day

Each year about this time I take a break from my normal pattern of shooting and attend the airshow or shows depending on the year, and take a relaxing day to just shoot planes on the ground or in the air. This was taken last week a one of the shows for the World War I and World War II aircraft at the Geneseo Airshow,NY. The temp was in the mid 90's and was grueling to endure for 4 1/2 hrs but well worth it. This is the 1944 AT-6.

I like your perspective here. The detail and clarity in this is excellent.

Tack sharp & I like the tight comp in this case..It reveals some very interesting details of this vintage flying machine Larry...You might also consider a closeup of "Dilly Daller", she has my attention
Great shot & have a nice weekend! :toast:

I like the POV here. The low angle illustrates the power of this machine. Sharp details.

What a super shot of this beautifully restored WWII aircraft! One of my favorite subjects to shoot as well, but don't get much opportunity. Just love the perspective, intimacy, detail and clarity in this, Larry. Bravo.
