Two young Cheetahs of the same family of six as in my previous post, only this was a day earlier. They gave us a wonderful few minutes in the early morning light.

The tail of the right Cheetah touched the edge of the frame unfortunately, so I added a sliver of canvas on the right and a few hairs on the tail tip.

Northern Tuli Game Reserve, Botswana
Camera Model Canon EOS 1D Mark IV
Shutter Speed 1/1000 Sec.
Aperture Value f/5
ISO Speed 400
Lens EF500mm f/4L IS USM
Crop >100% of original.

Lovely backlighting, good detail. In some ways, it seems odd that a pair of fast movers could be frozen in mid-stride, but an excellent and sound image, nonetheless.

Hello Vincent

Great Interaction Image! Rim/Backlighting really makes this Image.

Although Very Tight ... Still a Sweet Image!

Very cool backlit shot Vincent. I like the playfulness you managed to show with these animals. BTW, good job on the extra canvas. :toast:
