Here's another shot of the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher I posted a few days ago. In this shot he/she has just returned to the snag after taking a dip (bath) in a nearby pond.

1DMK4, 600mm, f6.3, 1/2000, ISO 400
Spot Metered, Manual Exposure
90% of full frame

Randy,
Good action shot and BG, very nice detail right down to the water droplets on and behind the subject.

Good action, nice perch, and nice background. Love the water droplets coming off it's tail.

I also like the action. Nice light and detail. Kind of wish the head was in a different position to get a better look at the eye and a catchlight.

Wonderful detail, Randy and great light. I'm ambivalent over the head turn. I like the kind of shy look it gives, but still find myself wishing for a bit more eye.

Nice and sharp, Randy. Excellent pose. Love the water droplets on the FC and in the air. I don't mind the head angle, but would have liked to see a catchlight.
