This is the main lily extracted from my previous post and given the high key treatment. How does it look?

I think this looks great! I prefer it to your original post. The white BG does the trick for me.

Catherine - White on white can be tricky but you managed very well here !. I like how the tip of the leaf looks at the bloom so nicely. Great DOF makes the Anthers standout so nicely.

Very artistic composition. The flower stands out nicely from the high key background.

I actually prefer this to the original, very nicely done. I would have no idea how to do this and lack the creativity to pull off the kinds of pictures I see here. If God doesn't paint the picture I can't capture it with my camera.

I think it looks beautiful Catherine. I love the composition. Have you tried lightening the shadows even more? May be.
Cheers.

Thanks, Gigi! Following your suggestion, I tried making the "mids" lighter. Think I like it.

Carolyn:
Love this high key presentation. The repost of the bloom is even better. I would perhaps mask the leaf before doing the adjustment as the leaf looks a little washout.

Catherine: I do prefer the repost but this is excellent both ways. Superb whites and DOF management. 2 thumbs up! >=))>
