This photo was taken in the Badlands of South Dakota as a severe storm was building around sunset. The sky was not as dramatic as in my previous post, but the light was really good. C&C welcome.

You still have some interest in the sky and the blue against the orange is really nice. Great textures and colors. This is very nice. Well done.

The light is gorgeous. I think I prefer the previous wider version, but this is beautiful as well.

There is a lot to like about this. Nice light, great color, some neat contrasts. Like it.

Lovely light Edward and good detail in the larger version.

Very nice. Your mix of color tones is wonderful. I would have like to have seen all of the big bluff on the right (or none of it) but I don't know what options you had. Beautiful light

Really like how the formation glow in this light and against this background. You were fortunate with these conditions.

Very nicely done Ed. Great color and balance across the photo. I don't think there is anything you could have done to make it better, like you said a more dramatic sky would have been nice but that's up to nature to provide.

I've enjoyed seeing the different character of the landscape through this series of images that you have been posting. I like the color on the badland formations in this image and even though the color in the sky isn't as dramatic I think it compliments the landscape well.
