Bluebirds!

I had my first sighting of bluebirds this year late friday evening, in fading indirect light.
To reiterate, I say again this was shot with indirect Low - Light at end of day. It was a Low-Light scene. Actual time was 7:42pm.
I have adjusted exposure only slightly. This accurately represents the conditions at time of shooting.
It's a Low-Light scene...Y'all :wavey:

There where 6 or more young birds at different intermediate stages.
F/5.6, 1/250th, ISO 800, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + Kenko 2x ext, no flash.

Here's a couple of very young birds bathing, quite a difference in plumage.

The low light helps give this a very natural look.

Good work in the low light, Howard. And good work posting photos of these kids; we neglect the young birds, I think, and they are obviously what it is all about.

I really like the mood of the lighting! The little rock perch in the middle of the water is great as well as the greenery framing the top & bottom.

I love this setting and lookback pose. A bit dark as presented.

Howard. Great setting. Really shows the habitat very nicely. It is a bit on the dark side as posted.

Sweet photos of the bluebirds. It is a little dark—must have been a low light situation.
