I love the Rose Swirls and make a few pictures each season focussing on the swirls.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor with 36mm ET, F/16, 1/60 Sec, ISO400, Diffuser and Tripod. Managing the diffuser is key to getting even luminosity. Cropped some from the right for composition.

Beautiful, Ram. The light is very even, but image is radiant and the color is dazzling. So, if I can inquire as to your trade secrets, what type of diffuser do you use?

Dude! How do you keep coming up with these comps??? The imbalance of weight between the tight spiral and the negative space on the right creates such delicious tension.

I just spent a couple of days at our local rose garden and appreciate how difficult it is to not only find the right specimen but also how to compose so it all makes cohesive sense.....at least it's difficult for me....

This is well done, as usual. Perfect DOV and the warm pastel mix is very nice.

Honestly I get rather bored of Rose images so I almost did not look at this. This is an awesome shot! Your composition is perfect and the detail is just right. I love it!
