Eagle: Successful Catch

OK, yet another eagle. I was watching another eagle in a tree waiting for it to do something when my wife alerted me to this one diving on a fish on the opposite side of the boat. In hunting terms this one would be considered a shap shot. Kudos to my lovely bride...

Very nice image. Water drops are an added bonus with the fish. I think more room all the way around would provide a stronger image. Still, a very nice capture.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with the comment regarding a little more room around the bird. I selected this crop because there wasn't any additonal room at the top of frame so I clipped the left/bottom slightly to match. But with this BG, stretching the top a bit isn't a big task so I'll give it a try. Actually providing more space will bring in more water drops that are cropped out of this version.

Fine eagle flight photo, the fish and water drops add to the image. Really like the good exposure of the eagles body as well as white head. Thanks for sharing.
