This big fellow has been rutting hard and is deserving of a bit of a rest and so was I considering the mountains I had to hike to get to him.

Whoa!!! He's a great looking old buck! I'm usually not a fan of center placed subjects, but it works very well here with the buck being part of the darker colored brush meandering through the image.

Like I mentioned about Milo's mule deer shot...always appreciate these big mule deer buck images cuz they aren't easy. This is really spectacular.
