canon 7d, 70-200 lens with 2Xextender. This was taken in Grand Teton National Park of bear 610. I was so happy to get a shot of her. She stood up at the very end as she and her 3 cubs walked away as if to say "don't follow us"

For starters, Nancy, we need a bigger image to appreciate it! Please do get someone to help you out with resizing images.

Hi Nancy, interesting position you caught this girl in. I agree the image could be larger, and IMHO needs to be cropped to a vertical composition instead of horizontal. Is this full frame, or a major crop? Were you hand holding or using a tripod? The image looks overall odd, and just wondering what your techs are for this shot, would help in making comments. Thanks for sharing your photo and experience with this grizz.

Hey Nancy,

Always fun when a bear stands - always illicits a whole lot of shutter clicks! Lighting looks tough (quite harsh) and the subject is perhaps a bit too centred for my personal taste (I'd shift it slightly to the right if it was mine), but I'm sure this one will bring a smile to your face for years to come!

The bear gave you a nice pose. Good suggestions already noted in other comments. It is always exciting to see a grizzly in the wild.
