Shelburne Falls

The rock formations at the base of Sherburne Falls are varied and impressive. Here is a wider view than the last post showing the holes formed by the icefields and the designs of the various types of rock. Taken with Canon 7D, 100-400 IS lens, handheld.

Always love Nature's abstract side. Good eye to see this.

Patricia,

While this may not have the nice flowing lines as your previous entry, this still makes for a very nice rock abstract, and again not much to help determine scale. Although I might like this better in some diffused light, I don't think the direct light is hurting things. What makes the image for me is the rusty streak running through the image - this wouldn't be nearly as interesting without it.

Very minor nit - I'm wishing the circle on the right wasn't merging with the edge of the frame. No biggie in the grand scheme of things.

Nice abstract. This one spot could be worked for hours and many unique photos could come from it. Good eye.
