This is a re-post. I think I am doing a little better in posting? Nikon D800E and 105 Macro lens. 1/200 @ 7.7, ISO 800. I used ISO 800 because I was photographing butterflies handheld. When I shot the flower I envisioned something like the final image as the original was a little boring. Original post under Flora but this seems removed from Flora at this point. I processed just for fun :-) Perhaps it belongs under Flora? Much thanks for all the suggestion on the original post. Hopefully I have reflected them here.

Flora is a wide category with a lot of leeway regarding creativity. It's always the final decision of the great Moderators, but this to me would be fine in Flora.
I like this a lot - the bright yellow center against the soft pinks is very effective. I'd personally move the flower just a bit higher in the frame.
Nice work!

The vibrant color with the pink looks very nice. Nice work. A work of art.
