Excellent! Looks like fine detail, but hard to tell with only a smaller image.
The water colour is fine, but is quite strong, and competes a little with the heron's colouring.
You might experiement a little by toning the blue down a bit.
Really nice image!

Sandy read my mind (it was a short book) I basically agree with her comments. I would also suggest a bit more room in front of the heron. Flight shots are tough, I think we can generally agree, so hats off for a sharp image of a cool bird in an excellent pose.

I also agree with Sandys comments. IMHO as it is it is a great flight shot. Colors of the heron are right on. Thanks for sharing.

Ditto what Sandy said. Nice details. It feels too tight in the frame overall. If you have more room, I would loosen the crop.

Excellent detail of this elusive bird. The Green Heron is a favorite of mine. I also suggest more space to right if available.

Not easy to find & shoot a Green Heron. Harder still to get one in Flight, so I envy you. Well done!

Nice shot. It looks a bit dark on my screen, Eric. Looking forward to shooting together soon.
