Thank you to everyone for all of the comments on my recent images. I really appreciate all of the suggestions which help me improve my images.

This is an image of the spring greens and the aqua marine water of the Little White Salmon River in Washington. The water in this river is very clear and blue since the river is almost entirely spring fed.

Nikon D7000, 10-24 Nikkor dx at 12mm, polarizer
2 exposure hand blend
4 sec at f/16, ISO 200 - for the tree motion and deep shadows
0.8 sec at f/16 ISO 200 for the water texture

Thanks for taking an look and for any comments you have. Please view large.

Pretty shot Scott. I love your chosen shutter speed, and the composition is right on the mark. My only nit is that the greens appear somewhat over-saturated on my monitor.

Wow, Scott. In the large version I definitely feel the power of the water - I felt like I was about to get soaked from the river. You must have been incredibly close to the current at 12mm.

The color in this is amazing from those vibrant greens to the wonderful blue in the water. The clarity in this image is spectacular as usual.

I don't know how you do it but your processing is always spot on to my eye - displaying a natural vibrance that I find very appealing.

Love the water... color - movement - texture, and nice crop with the distant shore.
Well made.

Motion packed image, for sure! I really like this, and the leading lines going back to the trees is great. I enjoyed the large version...

Beatutiful textures and processing.

I know it's the flow of the river and perspective, but my brain keeps wanting to straighten it out. Like bring the right side up a bit to make it even.

Scott.

This has a great flow aided by the moving water. I can feel the water moving in this. Well done.

Hey, Scott, this looks great! Love your POV, down in the waves of the river. Just great! Spring in the PNW is definitely GREEN, and this shows it well, imo. Really nice texture and motion in the water flow.

Wonderful sense of power and motion Scott. I guessing there were some excellent opportunities for abstracts as well.

Lovely spring image Scott. The color of the water is beautiful and I like how you included the bank of the river with all the greens and vegetation. Nice work!

The eye motion following that white water arch across the river is great. I also like your capture of the water motion and the aquamarine color. In the larger version, the better vision through the dark water in the lower left is a nice addition.

I commented yesterday that the greens appears to be over saturated, but looking at this on my work monitor they appear fine. Perhaps I need to recalibrate my monitor at home!

Thank you to everyone for all of the comments.

Bill - thanks for clarifying the saturation issue. I didn't think I had oversaturated the greens, so I'm glad to hear that it may just be your monitor.

Brian - the camera was about 2-3 feet above the water. Close enough to get water droplets on the polarizer from the foreground wave.

Nicolaus - When I was initially processing this one I tried to straighten the water line, but it seemed to lose a lot of the energy which is present in the water. I appreciate the suggestion.
