Where's the other one?

Taken in Banff last summer, this mother black bear crossed the road in front of our car, followed by a cub. When they got to the other side, they both stood up, waiting for another one to come along.I took this from the car, and in my excitement, close up it is a little blurry.

Canon Rebel xTi, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/100sec.

Very nice. They are often half hidden behind a bush. Here you got both standing up and looking in the same direction. NIce colors in the vegetation. I hope to see bears this summer.

Very cute image Kathy, good title. I love the similar poses. It is obvious when you observe bears how much intelligent they are and how they care for each other. The bears look a little soft as you pointed out but not bad at all, especially considering the dof you needed.

Too cool and very cute!
Nice positioning in the frame and the cub mirroring the mothers stance is great!

Cool poses Kathy! Ideally a higher SS for a sharper image as well as a narrower aperture for more DOF would have technically perfected this, although ISO will then be compromised.

Content wise you couldn't plan it better. Mini mirror image of mom and some flowers thrown in for color. Nice.

Very cool. My only wish might have been for tweaks as Vincent suggested and then for the cub to turn slightly to mirror the pose of the mother. That would not be asking too much of a young bear, would it? Thanks for sharing a neat capture.
