The wind farm busness boom half dozen years ago in west Texas made farmers rich and folks hopeful of a energy solution. This was shot near outskirts of Roscoe, Texas. During the height of the boom, farmers were getting up to $25,000 per turbine on their land. here is a wind farm growing out of the cotton fields.

The question is, are they still popular? And are they producing enough energy? Alaska is just starting to test out large scale wind farms.

Green energy has become a stalled vision of the future due to transmission problems of the electricity produced. T Bone Pickens invested 2 billion towards this half a dozen years ago.
The simple answer I think is they are very questionable as to their value vs the damage they due. .

So that's where all my tax money is going!
I believe there's a place for "alternative" energy, but let the private sector move it forward.
If it's viable, it should stand on its own two feet..Or column in this case
Well done Rick :wavey:
