Pair of Swainson's Hawks

Olympus E5, ZD300f2.8, 2xTC, ISO100, f5.7, 1/320 resting on vehicle window

Found two different pairs of Swainson's Hawks sitting together early this morning. These two were sitting closer together, so easier to get them in the same frame.

Very nice capture. The detail in the hawks looks great and I like their pose. Pleasing background. I like the perches and for me the barb wire helps give the photo context. :toast:

An interesting look at these two. Nice to get them both in focus.

What a nice image. Not a sight that I'm many of us have had the opportunity to see. Beautiful birds. Nicely captured.
