Canon 50D, f 7.1, 1/250. Been doing a lot of callas. Finally got the weeds cleared from the wild big bush in our backyard. Appreciate any feedback on this one. Thanks.

Nice capture. Good detail. I always like to encourage folks to provide a little information about how they shot their image and post processing.

Thanks!

Great image of this beautiful Calla leaf, Lucy! The structure is emphasised by the B&W choice. My only tiny nit is that there seems to be a shadow falling over the left part of the leaf. :toast:

Very interesting. Looks like a work in chrome.

Lucy:
I have not seen such beautiful processing like this since Pat Sampson's retirement. :toast: I meant this as a compliment as Pat produces some of the most captivating images through pp.

Thank you all so much for the kind words. I've come to rely on NP for rigorous invaluable critiques. You help me immensely to refine the work. And Rick, I don't recall the exact steps I used in processing and frankly this one seems to have emerged somewhat serendipitously.
But I remember going back and forth numerous times between Levels (CS5), Blending Modes, and Silver Efx Pro 2. The blending mode that has been the most useful, in general, is Multiply.

Best,
