A rare find for me at least, was this interesting abstract of beach sand texture and sunset light. Hope you enjoy it!

Cool patterns and texture. Fantastic light as well. Looks great to me as far as processing, comp, lighting, etc. The large image does appear a bit soft, though. Not to pick at a great image!

Looks like writing! Very cool find indeed Chris. Is it me or is the ULC soft?

Chris - Nice mix of texture and lighting. Reminds me of flyingover a mountain range at sunrise.

Very enjoyable! Love all those golden wiggles and how they're scattered through the frame.

Chris, This just looks great to me, and I'm enjoying it very much. Great comp, light and color. The highlighted sand ripples make for such interesting patterns and texture. Nice find, and you captured it so well.

The texture, color and patterns here are fantastic. This is a very well seen image of a moment that was likely measured in brief seconds.

Really pretty image Chris. The patterns and colors look great. It doesn't feel quite as crisp as what I'd normally expect from you - I am wondering if it is the F/16 setting? Overall, still a lovely shot.

Chris,
Outstanding! Fantastic use of the light, great color, saturation, texture... And great job filling the frame with the patterns of light and texture.
Very minor nit. The ripples along the bottom seem a little soft. Is that a sharpening thing or a depth, point of focus thing? You may have a tough time deciding on that 70-200 or the 24T/S!
Say, where did you learn to see like this?
This is wonderful Chris.

Thanks folks!
Lon, Michael, Youssef,
Thanks, yeah it does have some soft spots. I think now that F/16 wasn't really necessary as the depth of the scene was pretty shallow. It's that and as you mentioned Lon, a focus plain issue. I didn't have time to try a focus stack with this either. But it's not like I've ever tried that before. I'm not all consumed with technical perfection, thankfully. But, I do want to go to enough effort to get a good result. I may have to change my approach with certain subjects and situations.
