This was taken in St. Thomas from a sailboat. The sky was clear, but very dark for a sunset...but the flare of the sun was dramatic.

Nice simple sunset shot, Lucy. This is well composed with the sun right in the middle (vertically); the sloping mountain provides a nice contrast to that symmetry. The flare of the sun is quite remarkable and I like it's sparkling refelction in the water. Great capture.

Very pleasant minimalist shot. Conveys a nice sense of rocking gently on a boat watching the sun set.
