Headwaters-Puppy Love

I think there's an awfully cute little puppy dog in the water but I might just be seeing things. The quartz cobble in the stream bed caused the shift in the current that made this image possible. It also added a little light and color to an otherwise impossibly dark composition. I like this one about as well as any of the Headwater images I've posted to date. Please let me know what you think and, as always, thanks for looking.

Hi Nancy Lea, the face created by the bubbles is a real eye catcher but I find the overall comp. challenging because of the high contrast and separation between the light and dark areas. I could see cropping off the bottom third, to leave a bit of the quartz as a frame, but that's an artistic decision. I'd go back and work this location again and again.

I see a fox terrier--cute! Id cop the bottom dark part--no point in distracting from the 'pup'
