The habitat of this Great Blue Heron had a beautiful, almost magical quality in the late afternoon light. I decided to enhance that quality by creating a painterly look with Topaz Simplify.

Excellent job. You clearly accomplished what you set out to do. It has a very painterly feeling and also conveys the serenity of the scene.

Nice comp and image Barb. I might suggest bumping up the contrast with a levels adjustment just a bit. Very nice.
