The colorful fall leaves add nice color to this chilly scene. I like the vertical comp it add a sense of strength to the image.

I assume this photo is for the "fences" challenge even though you missed the deadline (midnight the 26th) to qualify for a weekly pick. I really like this photo, Michael. The fence going from near to far really leads your eye through the photo. The fall coloring of the trees makes such a nice contrast with the snow covering everything. Even though this could also make a beautiful image as a cropped horizontal photo, the vertical comp with the fence cutting through the tall trees adds a nice feel of depth to this picture. Great cross seasons shot!

Wonderful scene, with the warming from the yellow leaves. I really like how far the fence extends into the frame. Does look more like fell than fall.
