Fern Curls

Ferns can be very photogenic subjects  - and lend themselves to some creative compositions.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor @ F/11, 1/40 Sec, ISO400, Tripod and Plamp holding the Fern as it was windy.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Iris and let me know what you think of this one.

I have been away on business travel which explains my absence in the last few days. I will catch up slowly. Tons of great photos welcoming me.

Ram This is a crazy good artwork, beauty of the nature in great details. Excellently composed with very tasteful color contrast -green against green-. The great soft light add some more +++. Very well mastered photo. :toast: :toast:

Another killer image, Ram- The treatment of light, your simmetrical composition choice and the tones of the greens are splendid on this picture- My best congrats, Fabio

Ram:
No one can find curves and edges like you can! Fabulous and I love this. :toast:

Since this essentially monochromic, it would interesting to see a B&W conversion

Wonderful vision and execution Ram. I love the duplicating pattern you captured, along with the crisp detail and BG. Superb in my opinion.

You have a beautiful photographic eye Ram. I love all here: simplicity, design, the monochromatic composition, the stark structure. Perfect.
Cheers.

I've been away from NPN for awhile and coming back to view your work is a treat.

Terrific detail, perfect control of the BG and the diagonal placement of the fronds from top to bottom is icing on the cake.

Ram: I think I fell asleep for several days and missed this one. Superior comp and plane of focus management. Really good stuff. >=))>
