Tahoe Dreams

I've gone here a few times to shoot this rock, usually while traveling home from the Eastern Sierra as in this case, but this is the first time I actually got some nice atmosphere. The water was so clear and blue, but the golden glow was also getting my attention, so I had to do a pano. Four shots (2 for the sky and 2 for the foreground), blended then stitched. Thanks for having a look. Comments and critiques welcome!

love the rich blues and the gradient of color from warm to cool.... different perspective that I like quite a lot.

Very nice scene. The foreground rocks make a nice frame. Water on the left feels a bit too cyan, but it does make a nice contrast with the warmer tones on the right.

Thank you Reed and Tony for your comments.

@Tony...I guess you've never been to Lake Tahoe...there are large areas, most on the eastern shore, which are nothing but the lighter cyan color you see here.

Great shot Jean. I like your comp and that light is awesome. I too feel the cyan saturation is a little strong in the water and the sky, but the color itself is very nice in combo with the gold.

Sweet light and comp, Jean. My only suggestion would be to tweak the color balance a bit; it looks a bit to cyan in the sky and water. Just a suggestion of course.
