He's so adorable! I absolutely love your comp. The way his colour works with the greens looks just awesome. I really like the clover. This image really should have more comments! Awesome picture! :wavey:

It is a really interesting composition. About the only thing I'd wish for is a little more breathing room for the clover at the top.

Andrey - I also really like this image. The colours and textures are great, and I very much like your choice of compositions. I do agree with Max's suggestion for a little space above the clover if you have it. In fact, just a little space all around might help this image breathe just a little and still have a very strong appeal and impact. All in all, I think you did a great job with this.

Thank you all for your comments. I agree with you. I wish I could have some extra space. However, I would have had to include some brown patches from the soil below.

This is a really interesting image Andrey. I like the fact that the frog is partly hidden; if it were entirely visible this would not have been half as strong. I do echo the suggestions made for improvement. Further I am just wondering how this would look like in B&W.

PS: I couldn't help noticing your below average post to comment ratio and would like to take the opportunity to invite you to contribute more to these forums by also commenting and providing constructive feedback on other people's work. Ultimately the success of all the galleries are determined largely by the comments members leave on the images that are posted. If you're unsure or uneasy about commenting/"critiquing" there are several good resources on this website discussing it. Start right here:

http://www.naturephotographers.net/naturephotos/wildlifephotography.html

and you'll find links to the the image posting guidelines and two articles on critiquing ("The Art of Image Critique" and "More Thoughts on Photo Critique.").

You may be surprised that you will probably learn even more from critiquing other people's work than from having your own work critiqued!

Love this little Spring Peeper (?) poking out from the foliage. The surrounding green really works well here against the color of the frog.

A wonderful and very pleasing composition to look at, even without the frog. But, the frog is a great bonus IMO. Awesome Photo Andrey

I like the many lines and shapes. I would only wish to see a wee bit more of the eye.
