Picture of road fence from Hunter Valley. The Hunter Valley is located in NSW inustralia, around 120-300 km north of Sydney. It is one of the largest river valleys on the NSW coast. Hunter Valley Region is one of Australia's most famous wine-growing regions, known for both its red and white wine varieties (Shiraz, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay)

But Hunter Valley is also well known for its coal industry

There is increasing tension between the coal mining industry and some other industries because of the environmental impacts of coal mining including dust, water usage, water contamination, and destruction of agricultural land, and the impact of coal trucks on local and regional roads.
