The Disney folks put on quite a show! It is quality fun (and quite expensive). The crowds were unreal, even during the off-season! This was taken from the West side of The tree of life. D300s, Nikkor 16-35mm, ISO 200, F/9, HH, braced on railing. A pano of 4 photos.

Your comments and critiques are always welcome! You need to see this large to really appreciate the massiveness of this sculpture!

Never seen anything like this. Format and composition works well. Natural looking colors and nice details.

Phil, I have been by this display several times, and you did it great justice with this image. Well done.

Phil, this is fascinating. I love the detail. And I especially like the panoramic view. So glad you included a larger photo.

Is this in LA or Orlando?

Thanks,

Carol

The details in the tree are great. I only wish I could see them better.

Phil, you're making me seriously jealous right now! My family and I have always wanted to go to Disney! You did a great job with this photo.

I've always wondered just how they did this. I should plant a tree in my backyard and give it a try...hm, possibilities.  :jump:

Yeah, this blew us away while waiting in line there in 1998. This is a great image and your pano of 4 shots really shows it's scale. :toast:
