I have taken many hanging leaves. They make interesting subjects.
This one fit the color theme quite well. I gave it a little "glamour glow" to blend the colors together.
This poor leaf has lost part of the left side, which gives it character IMO, But, should I clone out the inside bruising. I would like it to look very "clean" yellow against green on the surface of the leaf, but I wanted your opinions before re-touching it....Would you clean it up?....And,if so, how much?

This certainly fits the theme well, Lucy. I like the combination of the yellow and green in these leaves. Nice comp of the stem and the leaves that show off nicely against the dark background.

I like the colors, and the subject stands out well against the dark green BG.

I don't think that the "bruising" detracts from the composition at all. The area of soft green in the background is a nice element, as opposed to a solid black background.

I can't take full credit for the dk green background. I have to thank Ole Mother Nature for putting some "greenery" in just the right place. But, I did pick the "sweet spot" avoiding the tree trunks  in the BG

I agree with you Lucy, the missing portion of leaf does add character or realism.
And I'd "leaf" in the bruising for the same reasons
Besides, it looks to me like it would be a rather difficult PS fix to get right..
Great WC entry :wavey:
