After Bathing

With the arrival of a few warblers over the weekend, I spotted this wet Chestnut-sided as he had just come up from a small stream and alighted on a branch about 4 meters away. You'd think he would have been happy for the cleansing, but he looks almost a little put off to me.

Cool image! The detail looks awesome! The only nit I can think of is that the out of focus leaves to the left of him are slightly distracting to me. Still an awesome image!

Chuck, I agree with Jenya about the leaf on the left. I like the the exposure which handles what seems to be a tough lighting situation. Great capture.

Nice capture, Chuck. Some serious preening ahead for this little songster.

Nice job with the flash Charles. Perfect amount for fill IMO. I don't mind the OOF leaves, they don't bother me in the slightest.

Lovely image Chuck. An excellent capture for such a difficult subject.

Very nice - the wet look makes this different from the usual warbler shot. Nice exposure and sharpness.

Funny little one! Love the wet feathers. He surely does NOT look happy.
The bright and OOF leaves also distract me a little, and I'd personally get rid of them and their stem.
Nice image!
