Trail to the Galaxies

I've been over this photo a hundred times it seems. The magic of capturing the the Milky Way at 12,000ft. above sea level on a chilly summer night is something to be experienced though. I will definitely be going back up to this area this summer.

Thanks everyone! Bill, the sign is a trail sign for the hiking trail that I was on that leads to the mountain peak that is faintly visible lower middle right.

This one would be cool with a flash light illumination and ps sign (something funny)...but to show the stars.. not so great.....take the next one without the detractor.....

I understand why you left the sign in, but I agree with the others about leaving it out. Beautiful rendition of the Milky Way.
